ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Brad. I am into technology new and old. I also like to restore old trucks and cars. I am also pretty good at making tools of my own design. I have a few tools that I made that I use all the time. I made my first tool at the age of 15 and I still have it today. I wish I would have known how to market back then, because I see tools like the one I made selling for $20.00 each. Man, I could be sitting pretty well now!
I have started a small reseller business selling Web hosting and I have completed a few Web sites here in Queen Creek, AZ. Some friends of mine started a restaurant called the "San Tan Cafe". The site I did for them is located here: San Tan Cafe
I like to ride quads and go to the dunes with my friend Mike, I also play Xbox (str0kednova). I have a number of friends who also play Xbox games. My friend John (Cybrfrk) is an application developer for Intel, but he kicks butt in Halo.
I have a LAMP server (CentOS Linux server) and a WAMP server that runs in VMWare. I use SVN to keep all revisions of my Web code. SVN is my tool of choice. For Windows systems, I use Tortoise SVN (WAMP server). Tortoise SVN works very well and has been incorporated into Windows explorer nicely.
I have setup DHCP and DNS on my LAMP server for my home network. I love Linux, because it is very fast and can run on just about any computer. CentOS is publically developed as is Fedora and they are based upon RedHat Enterprise Linux. CentOS is the Linux version that I use at home. However, I also have Ubuntu and it is very easy to operate. I loaded it on one of my friends laptops and he loves it. I set the laptop up for a dual boot configuration, so he can use his Windows software too!
